Bible Fellowships

are designed to teach the Scriptures in a group setting, minister to the needs of people through personal contact, and provide fellowship, the Adult Bible Fellowship is more than a program; it is a ministry of people touching the lives of other people.

Pastor Ben Sarfo- Duffor

Pastor Ben Sarfo- Duffor is the senior pastor of GFMI, and married to Mrs. Berlinda Mensah, they are blessed with wonderful children…

” At Community we believe that every member of the congregation should be involved in the ministry. One of the purposes of the local church is to equip the saints for the work of the ministry. We try to keep the programs we use in perspective. They are tools that do not take our primary goal out of focus – that is to glorify God. See individual ministry pages for more details. .”

We believe that, if you will hear the Word of God as it is, and submit yourself to what it says, God Himself will begin to work in you from the inside out to make you look more like His Son, Jesus Christ. Come. Hear the Bible as it is–just as you are. You won’t be the same when you leave.

At Community, we strive to clearly explain and apply the Word of God as it is—without “dumbing down,” without apology. And we preach it to people “as they are.” Many people feel they must clean themselves up to come to church. But, as it has been said, you’re never too good to stay out, or too bad to come in. When you visit Community you will find a warm welcome from a variety of people of varying backgrounds who are happy to have you join us.

What single purpose drives our thinking and, as result, our ministry?

We have discerned from Scripture that the highest priority of every person and of our church is to glorify God at all cost. As believers, as church members, or as pastors, our ultimate duty and responsibility is to show the world that God is God and there is no one equal to Him. While some may view certain biblical commands that discipline, restrict, or specifically direct our actions or methods of ministry to be hindrances to effectively accomplishing the great commission, we believe that no biblical command—whether a “thou shalt” or a “thou shalt not”—when it is properly obeyed, ever hinders us from glorifying God. In fact any and every act of obedience is a personal declaration that God is God and we are not. We affirm His ability and right to rule every time we obey Him. This is the point!
